Job Description
Morrie’s Automotive Group, a dynamic, long-standing, and growing retail automotive group based in the Twin Cities metro area is expanding and has openings for Sales Consultants.

Sales Consultants strive to meet the needs of our customers and drive the success of our dealerships. Sales consultants assist customers and demonstrate how to operate vehicles, providing test drives, and identifying costs associated with the purchase.


Essential Functions:
1.) Providing the Buy Happy experience to all customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that fits their needs.
2.) Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available.
 
 
3.) Keeping up-to-date on new products, features and accessories available and translating them to benefits for our customers.
4.) Referring closed deals to the F&I Manager.
5.) Preparing sold vehicles for customer pick-up, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle’s operation features, the Buy Happy promises and paperwork.
6.) Following up all post-purchase action items including tag/title work, special requests from the buyer, and buyer follow-up to encourage repeat and referral business.

Job Requirements:
 
 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to explain the products, their features and benefits compared to competing brands.
  • Work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals.
  • A valid state driver's license is required.
 
 
Education Requirements:
 
 
  • A high school diploma or the equivalent is required and a college degree is preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Business/marketing background preferred
