Works in one of several mazes/scare zones interacting in a frightening way to entertain guests by portraying a defined character.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires the following education and experience, or an equivalent combination of both: Education Experience Minimum Age
Less than High School No Prior Experience Necessary At Least 16 Years of Age
Qualifications:
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV,
previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial
law.
Ability to demonstrate basic acting ability.
Ability to demonstrate strong vocal tones.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including
initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety
guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Exemplifies Cedar Fair's Cornerstones of Safety, Courtesy, Service, Cleanliness, and Integrity.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee
Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
Interacts with park guests.
Rehearses and performs role for assigned attraction as directed by Maze Master or Talent Captain.
Entertains guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body
movements and strong vocalization.
Poses for photos with and for guests.
Treats associates and guests cordially and with respect, courtesy, and fairness.
Handles and reacts appropriately to stressful situations. Maintains a calm demeanor during emotionally charged
situations.
Ensures safe operation of the attraction.
Handles all props and equipment carefully to avoid injury to self, guests or other employees, and to avoid damage to the
props or attraction.
Wears all safety equipment issued with costume.
Remains in full face or partial latex prosthetic and face make-up, or wears full face mask made of latex for entire shift.
Focuses attention and energy toward the guest by staying in character while "on stage".
