WEB DESIGNER

As a web designer at Insite Software, you will be primarily tasked with translating UX wireframes, prototypes and functional specifications into client front-end implementations through a combination of visual web design and front-end development. You will consult with clients to concept branded experiences built on the InsiteCommerce platform and perform a variety of internal design tasks. In addition to creating visual design concepts and style guides, you will also be responsible for designing and prototyping interface enhancements. As a part of the User Experience process, you will be an advocate for quality design and will help to gather and communicate client feedback to the rest of the team.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years relevant experience as a web or user experience designer
• Able to work with clients to assess brand standards and design needs
• Must have an ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team
• Possess a strong attention to detail and an ability to ensure visual quality
• Possess ability to create superior quality visual designs while honoring business requirements and platform constraints
• Resourceful and self-motivated
• Possess a familiarity with best interface design practices
• Able to accept direction and feedback from senior designers
• Have a strong knowledge of common front-end technologies, especially HTML, CSS and jQuery
• Adapt quickly to varying timelines and project requirements
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign
• Passion for learning new skills and technologies

BONUS

• Experience designing mobile and responsive interfaces
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and designing within platform constraints is recommended
• Experience working with developers
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
