The Edina Country Club is currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for supervising restaurant operations to include Chester’s, Thorpe, Veranda, and the Pool Snack Bar. Guiding a $1.25 million dollar operation, they will lead a staff up to 20 club professionals in creating a “Wow” member experience. The Restaurant Manager will directly report to the Restaurant Operations Manager, a 25-year veteran of the club and will select, train and supervise staff to insure delivery of the highest quality service. They are responsible for member relations and retention, staff’s professional growth, budget development and cost controls, club safety and sanitation, and the creation and administration of Standard Operating Procedures. Strong financial and analytical skills are required, with the knowledge of POS systems, MS Word and Excel being essential.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in a large volume food and beverage establishment. Demonstrated leadership, maturity, initiative, the management of multiple venues simultaneously, and an uncompromised level of integrity is essential.
Candidate must have the ability to work varying shifts based on Club needs including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must possess excellent communication skills and have prior experience in supervising work units with multiple areas of responsibility.
