Jones-Harrison has an unmatched legacy of excellence in long term care for the elderly in our community. Our nonprofit facility has been recognized for our personalized, professional care and unique programs and services.
We currently have an excellent opportunity for full time Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator to join our highly effective T/R team. We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic individual to develop, plan, and facilitate therapeutic programming for our skilled care residents, as well as ensuring the timely completion of assessment documentation for an assigned caseload. This individual will also be responsible to drive the facility van to transport residents to functions outside of the building.
Our ideal candidate will have applicable experience within a long term care setting, with demonstrated talent in music and arts. The ideal candidate must also possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, excellent verbal communication skills and the physical ability to load and unload residents onto the van. Occasional evening and weekend work is required.
