Job Description

CNC Field Service Engineer
 
Position Summary:
 
Responsible for day to day field service including but not limited to service, installations and preventive maintenance relative to the Minnesota Office.
 
Essential Duties:
 

  • Perform field service, installations and PMs as required.
  • Resolve customer issues and provide exceptional customer support.
  • Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business   expectations.
  • Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.

 
Principle Accountabilities:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are a minimum representation of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Potential candidates must be able to successfully complete service calls and excel beyond that of our competitors. The Applicant must be able to manage Customer relationships coupled with improved satisfaction, and willing to be measured by such. Additionally, this individual must be organized, motivated and a self-starter.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A CNC technical background is required with a proven track record in field service. The ideal candidate would also have a minimum 2 year technical degree, with a working knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls, Siemens a plus.
 
Prior experience and disciplines on DMG/Mori Seiki, Machine Tool Mechanics, and Ball-Bar Testing.
 
General Requirements: Good work ethic, dedication to detail, punctuality and self-motivated. Job may require work     outside the normal work day of 8:00am-5:00pm. Travel and overnight stays are required for projects and training periodically. Other requirements may be added in the future as the market dictates.
