Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Call Center Representative is responsible for professional scheduling of all appointments for the service department in a manner that promotes a smooth flow of appointments through the service department. The coordinator schedules appointments so as to maximize customer convenience while meeting the advisors and technicians availability.

Essential Functions Statement(s) 
  • Answer incoming calls to provide information, schedule appointments and receive customer and vehicle information.
  • Listen to customer concerns, comments and requests to provide clear explanation on the repair order.
  • Provide accurate cost and time estimates for needed maintenance and repairs.
  • Contact customers to confirm appointments prior to scheduled appointment.
  • Perform follow-up calls to service customers to ensure satisfaction with their service visit.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by manager.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: One to two years related experience required.
Computer Skills
Knowledgeable in general computer operations. Ability to learn specialized computer programs including ADP Dealer Management (or similar) and X-Time systems. Ability to become proficient in the use of dealership and franchise websites.
 
Other Requirements
General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations is beneficial. To be successful in this position, the employee must be responsible and have a strong work ethic, maintain a professional personal appearance and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
