Job Description
Open Systems International, Inc. (www.osii.com), a fast paced and dynamic software and engineering services company, has an immediate opening for a Software Development Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, and 3-5 years experience as a Software Development Supervisor. This is a highly visible role within the company with excellent career potential.
Responsibilities of the position include:
The position requires the ability to provide clear direction, performance management, identify developmental needs and to supply coaching and counseling to employees. The successful individual must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask while staying highly organized. Strong time/project management and organization skills and the ability to remain flexible and effective under pressure in a fast paced environment are critical.

- Act as project manager for corporate initiatives related to Software Development.
- Manage resources to meet project plan and schedule requirements.
- Manage direct reports and teams to ensure work is on schedule and accurate.
- Manage software quality assurance efforts to ensure products are adequately tested and meet OSI quality standards.
- Promote and enhance OSI's corporate development processes.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure product complies with technical specifications and project schedule.
