Position Summary

The Home Sale Counselor is responsible for coordinating and managing the home sale process with PLUS partners and Service Delivery Team to ensure transferees and corporate clients experience Delight.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively communicate with clients and relocating employees with an attitude of expertise and advocacy
  • Learn each client’s hiring and management culture, and attitudes toward relocation costs and benefits, in order to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Educate relocating employees on home sale benefits
  • Manage the home sale process including marketing, negotiating purchase agreements, and closing the sale
  • Maintain accurate “real-time” records in company software systems
  • Collaborate on service improvement opportunities and program enhancements
  • Proactively communicate critical issues and recommendations for program/process improvements to maintain a high level of customer loyalty

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously, as well as be part of a successful team
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactively protects internal and external confidential information
  • Computer skills necessary for normal business matters. (Microsoft Suite required)
  • Ability to respond resourcefully and constructively to new demands, priorities, and challenges
  • Ability to educate others on tax sheltered home sale programs
  • Successful contract negotiation skills

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years relocation-related experience preferred
  • Willing to travel as business needs require
