Job Description
The Program Supervisor is responsible for managing the growing community-based employment and living program in St. Paul. This position supervises and directs the work of staff and branch leaders in the provision of services. Services provided are community-based residential, supported employment, and Vocational Rehabilitation contracted services. Most individuals served have a developmental disability or related condition.

Scope of Program Supervisor position:
  • Manage staffing to meet program needs, overseeing their training, development and performance.
  • Responsible for revenue attainment and controlling expenses in branch location.
  • Develop, promote and maintain relationships with local businesses, referral and other community resources.
  • Oversee compliance of program and licensing/accreditation functions.
  • Participate as a member of the organization’s leadership and management team.

Minimum qualifications for this position include; Designated Coordinator status and previous supervisory experience. Must have a demonstrated ability to travel frequently to assigned branch, administrative office and other locations as needed; Excellent organization, communication, and problem solving skills; Attention to detail; Personal and professional boundaries;  Computer skills; Ability to think creatively and globally, manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.

Designated Coordinator Qualifications:
  • The person holds a four-year degree in a field related to service provision, AND one year work experience with individuals with a developmental disability;
OR
  • The person holds a two-year degree in a field related to service provision, AND has at least two years of experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities;
OR
  • The person holds a diploma in community-based developmental disability services from an accredited post-secondary institution AND has at least two years of experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
