Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Programs, sets up, and operates CNC Wire EDM Machines with minimal supervision. Produces complex and high tolerance machined parts.
 
 QUALIFICATIONS
Should have mechanical/technical abilities/experience. Must have the ability to program using Master Cam software and set up multiple styles of machines including hole poppers and sink EDM’s.  Must be willing to freely move amongst all cell machines as workload demands.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
2-Year Machine Tool/Tool and Die degree
 
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Should be able to read technical data such as blueprints and routings. Must be able to effectively communicate in order to receive and give directions and have the ability to control machines and computers by using technical and mechanical directives. Must be able to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization. Teamwork and collaborative skills are necessary.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Machine and Tooling mathematics are necessary. Examples of this include, but are not limited to trigonometry and algebra.
 
COMPENSATION
Depends on Experience plus shift premium if applicable
