Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District Career Opportunities

Northeast Metro 916 is one of three intermediate school districts in the metropolitan area of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Our primary customer base includes 11 K-12 member districts, eight charter schools, and the East Metro Integration District. We also provide programs and services to other schools generally in the east metropolitan area.

As an intermediate district, Northeast Metro provides programs and services in three core areas of our mission: special education, career and technical education, and educational services. By partnering with our member districts and schools, we are able to enhance educational opportunities for students and achieve cost efficiencies.

The district employs approximately 570 staff including 236 teachers, 230 education assistants and approximately 104 support staff. Support staff includes clerical, maintenance, sign language interpreters, school health specialists and administrators.

Northeast Metro 916 is one of three intermediate school districts in the metropolitan area that provide educational specialties, including Special Education, Career and Technical Education, and a variety of other Educational Services to member districts.
