The City of Fridley, Minnesota is located just north of Minneapolis on the east bank of the Mississippi River. Our community is home to approximately 27,000 residents, 900 businesses and 17 places of worship. Although the first European settlers arrived in the 1840's, the City's major growth took place in the decades following the second World War. Incorporated in 1949, Fridley is now a thriving community. Fridley employs approximately 135 full-time employees, 200 seasonal workers for recreational, maintenance positions, and paid on-call firefighters.
