1954 – Executone of St. Paul is founded and begins many decades of serving the community with exceptional communication systems for businesses and hospitals in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

1964 – As the business has grown, a second office opens in Rochester, MN.

1994 – Executone of St. Paul acquires Executone of Minneapolis, expanding services to most of the state of Minnesota.

1996 – Executone of St. Paul acquires Executone of Iowa, expanding services to the entirety of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. This tremendous growth is attributed to exceptional, customer-oriented staff, including knowledgeable sales representatives and certified technicians, with customer support available around the clock.

1999 – To more accurately reflect the areas served and the product offerings, Executone Systems of St. Paul changes its name to Ideacom Mid-America.

2001 – Ideacom Mid-America partners with Communications Mid-America to better serve the needs of healthcare communities.

2006 – A new office is opened in Duluth, Minnesota.

2009 – A new office is opened in Fargo, North Dakota. Ideacom Mid-America along with CMA begins servicing the North Dakota area.

2012 – Ideacom Mid America along with CMA opens state of the art HELPDESK support eliminating costly on site support by rapid response by providing remote diagnostics, live over the phone technical support, upgrades, changes, and adds to client's technologies. Clients can now email, chat, and text message our HELPDESK SUPPORT CENTER during normal business hours.

2013 – The introduction of MANAGED VOICE AND DATA SERVICES to our new and existing clients. Expanded Tele-presence services including HOSTED VOICE SERVICES. It's a very exciting time for COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES for Business and Industry.
