Generally, Design and Construction are the most costly and risky moving parts in any real estate project. Therefore, SSC's Design / Build arm, South Street Construction Management (SSCM), oversees architecture and construction for all SSC projects. SSCM is run by Gary Stoltz, whose extensive background in both Architecture and Construction give him a unique leg-up in growing the built environment of SSC buildings from sketches to reality.


Many real estate investment firms farm-out leasing and property management to large companies that take substantial fees. SSC believes that each building in its portfolio is a unique, living community. Therefore, in-house leasing and property management allow SSC to constantly stay involved with the day-to-day oversight necessary in good real estate ownership. Rather than keeping tenant's at arms length from ownership, SSC wants tenants to have a voice that is heard directly.
