Overview:
Veeco's process equipment solutions enable the manufacture of LEDs, displays, power electronics, hard drives, compound semiconductors, MEMS, semiconductors advanced packaging and wireless chips. We are the market leader in MOCVD, MBE, Ion Beam, Wet Etch single wafer processing and other advanced thin film process technologies. Our high-performance systems drive innovation in energy efficiency, consumer electronics and network storage and allow our customers to maximize productivity and achieve lower cost of ownership.
Veeco has an opening in Saint Paul, MN, for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to participate in the delivery of New Product Development (NPD), Engineer-To-Order (ETO), and Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) work for compound semiconductor capital equipment. The role supports the delivery of custom and configured OEM capital equipment to the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, design and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage AC/DC distribution, motion control and robotics, specification and incorporation of OEM power supplies and controllers, and many other areas of design.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of related experience or a Master's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience is required. Direct commercial experience working in semiconductor capital equipment, or a similar technical field, is a plus. Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD design tools is highly preferred, as is experience using SAP or other PDM systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $138,000 + bonus + benefits. When determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
