Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: The Lube Delivery Driver position will ensure timely, efficient and safe pick-up and delivery of lube products while maintaining customer satisfaction. Complete proper paperwork in an accurate, timely manner, including driver sheets, driver logs, equipment inspection forms, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor
  • Maintain active drivers license, medical card and truck operation in full compliance with DOT laws.
  • Manage your driving records, maintain logbook, perform Pre/Post Trip inspections and document defects.
  • Unload or assist in unloading material as required
  • Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits
  • Ensure delivery of ticket with material and obtain customer signature
  • Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day
  • Pick up local-pickup purchase orders
  • Maintain schedules when delivering, to meet customer expectations
  • Communicate with dispatch, customer service and salesmen daily to apprise them of deliveries and understand customer needs
  • Submit delivery documents after each delivery cycle (daily).
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring customer loyalty
  • Abide by all polices, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
  • Minimum of two years driving experience.
  • Local routes: Driving majority of the day

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Lifting 20 pound objects constantly; 50 pound objects frequently; and 100 pound objects occasionally is required
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification exam
